The LICENSING branch on the Configuration Tree defines the different types of license management tools and the various software licenses managed by these tools for the application software that will run on your set of compute servers. This information will be used by the queuing system in EASA to check for available licenses before submitting processes to compute servers that require the use of licensed application software.
The license management tools are defined under LICENSE TYPE LIST using LICENSE TYPE objects. Likewise, the different software licenses to be managed are found in the LICENSE LIST as LICENSE objects. Descriptions of objects and parameters found on the LICENSING branch are given in the table below.
The LICENSE objects that you add to the Configuration Tree will be determined by the different software applications available for use by the EASA system. This list is defined under the SOFTWARE LIST branch.
