Results Menu‌

After submitting an EASAP to run, you can use the pages under the Results tab to check on the status of an EASAP run, and once it is completed, to view its results. Under the Results tab, the four selections are as follows:

  • My Results
  • All Results
  • Recycle Bin
  • Export

Each of these selections will be described below.

My Results‌

The My Results selection under the Results menu takes you to the page containing a table of your submitted EASAP runs. The picture below provides an example of the table found in My Results.

Table of Submitted EASAP runs

The table of submitted EASAP runs behaves in a similar fashion to the My Workspace, with the addition of the Delete All button. Pressing this button will irreversibly remove all results. The table has the following eight columns:

  • Application - EASAP title as shown in Applications Library
  • Status - Status of run: Queued (n), xx% or Completed, where n is the nth place in queue and xx is the percent complete. May also contained special text in place of the % complete status
  • Notes - Displays run specific information. Add to the notes by clicking on the Edit button ()
  • Date - Date and time the EASAP run was submitted
  • User - Name of user that submitted EASAP run
  • EASAP - Clicking on Open button () opens EASAP submitted
  • Results - Clicking on one of the View Results buttons (, ) shows EASAP output
  • Stop/Delete - Clicking on Stop button () stops current EASAP run and clicking on Delete button () deletes EASAP run

Note: The Open and Delete buttons correspond to the stored copy of the EASAP submitted to run and do not affect the original versions stored in the Applications Library.

Searching for Results

The table in My Results also can be searched as in My Workspace (see Searching for EASAPs). The two differences are:

  • Status column also searched in the My Results table
  • Searching within specific time period available using second input box on the search line. The syntax is one number for number of days to search back from present time, for example enter 7 to go back a week

All Results‌

The All Results selection under the Results menu takes you to the page containing a table of all users’ submitted EASAP runs. This table is similar to the one found in My Results, except the Stop/Delete column is not available.

By reviewing the existing results generated by all users on your EASA system, you may find that another person may have already submitted EASAP runs that are of interest. Access to these results may very well save you from submitting redundant EASAP runs.

Recycle Bin‌

The Results menu includes its own Recycle Bin that is separate from the one under the Workspace menu (see Recycle Bin). The Remove All button empties the Recycle Bin. Again, the last column called Restore contains Restore buttons that will ‘restore’ the EASAP back to the My Results table.

Note: Clicking on a Delete button in the Recycle Bin table will completely remove the submitted EASAP run from the system. Again, only your submitted copy of an EASAP will be deleted, while the original version stored in the Applications Library will not be affected.

The Remove All button’s effect is final, it cannot be undone and it doesn’t require confirmation.

Export Results‌

The Export Results selection under the Results menu takes you to the page on which you can export data from existing EASAP runs to a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet. On the Export Results page, you export a set of results by following the instructions below:

  1. Click on the Export Results button () in either the My Results or All Results column for the EASAP of interest.
  2. On the new page that appears, first select the Column Order. Next, select the Start Date and End Date to define the time frame used to select runs for exporting.
  3. Once you have made your selections, you click on the Export button to create the Excel spreadsheet.
  4. Once the spreadsheet has been generated, a pop-up window will appear allowing you to either open the Excel file or save it to your disk drive.

Note: Depending on the size of single and the number of runs selected to be exported, the process of creating the Excel spreadsheet may take several minutes.

Data saved to the spreadsheet includes the following:

  • Submission information such as EASA name, user name, date, etc…
  • Input data
  • Output data

Note: If the total number of data values exported exceeds 256, then the data will be automatically spread across multiple worksheets in the Excel workbook.

An example of a spreadsheet created by the export results process is shown below.
