Estimated completion time = 10 minutes.
In this final practical session, you will be using authoring tools within EASA for testing and then publishing your EASAP. EASA contains a testing area for each EASAP under development, so that each version of an EASAP can be validated prior to users accessing it. Once it has been tested and is ready for release, publishing and thereby deploying the EASAP is accomplished by a single button click.
Please follow the instructions below to complete this practical session.
Let's start by testing our EASAP.
The following window will appear:
The table should look like the following:
A window will appear with the message “EASAP submitted successfully”.
The following will appear in the browser window:
If the test run does not proceed as illustrated above or the report does not look like the one above and you are unable to determine the cause of the problem, then contact your instructor or EASA support representative. At this point, you may need to go back to EASAP Builder and make changes to your EASAP to fix any problems.
If the test run was successful, then your EASAP will now be ready for publishing.
You will then be taken to a new window that states that “The EASAP has been successfully published”. Next, you can check whether your EASAP will be visible to Users on the EASA system.
Your EASAP will now be visible in the Applications table. If you like, you can open up your EASAP, modify some inputs and then submit it to run as a User. As a User the output from an EASAP run will appear in the EASA→Results→My Results tab.
At this point, the EASAP is ready to be deployed to Users.
