EASA Support for Excel Functionality

EASA supports a large portion of potential uses of Excel spreadsheets, but not all. Here are the functions that an EASA application can perform on an Excel spreadsheet:

  • Read values from cells
  • Write values into cells
  • Set the Number Format in cells
  • Clear values from cells
  • Extract Charts and display as images
  • Screen capture ranges of cells and display as images
  • Run macros

This section provides a general listing of common Excel features and whether they are currently supported within EASA. When there are cases where the feature is not supported directly but an alternative approach exists, it will be described in the Alternative column.
