POLL
Guide Section: An EASAP GUI
EASAP Tree: USER INTERFACE → TABBED PANE LIST → TABBED PANE
POLL is a unique component which provides the ability to automatically, repeatedly trigger an ACTION at a defined interval.
An ACTION can be added either as:
- A Child ACTION to a POLL
- Set POLL REQUEST EVENT→Action: to an ACTION GROUP.
In this respect, POLL acts in a similar way to a BUTTON.

| Interval: | Integer number of seconds between poll triggers. |
If a POLL interval is triggered while a FORM is open, the FORM will get closed automatically, therefore they should not be present together on the same TABBED PANE.
