Guide Section: Diagramming
EASAP Tree: USER INTERFACE → DIAGRAM LIST → DIAGRAM

TEXT annotates a DIAGRAM with text. Parameters define TEXT:

  • Origin: specifies the text location (really the lower left corner of the text block)
  • Label: specifies the text to be displayed
  • Other parameters specify the font characteristics.

Label: allows object references so the text displayed can be dynamic.

TEXT is always displayed horizontally in the Diagram Region.

Essential Parameters:
Origin:Point coordinates of lower left corner of text block: x0,y0
Label:Text to be displayed on DIAGRAM, object references allowed
Optional Parameters:
Show if:Logical expression, if TRUE then text shown, if FALSE then text NOT shown
Font Color:Select fill style from list for font color
Font Name:Select font name (default→Serif, Arial, Times New Roman, Helvetica, Courier, Serif, SansSerif, Monospaced, Dialog)
Font Type:Select font type (default→Plain, Bold, Italic)
Font Size:Select font size (8→72, default→12)
Delimiter:Character to delimit object references in Label: (default→%)
