DATE CONVERSION converts a date from Input Pattern: to Output Pattern:
For example DATE CONVERSION is useful when taking data from a database and converting it into a form suitable for writing to an Excel cell.
Common input and output patterns are provided as drop downs, but more general patterns can also be entered as described in Date formats in an EASAP.

When EASA interacts with Excel dates are exchanged as a single number. The pattern “Excel Date” allows dates in other formats to be converted to or from this format.
