MARGIN defines the space outside of the border for each of the four sides of the object being formatted.

| Top: | margin above object, number immediately followed by an abbreviation for unit: 1cm, 2mm, 3in, 4px, 5pt |
| Right: | margin to right of object: 1cm, 2mm, 3in, 4px, 5pt |
| Bottom: | margin below object: 1cm, 2mm, 3in, 4px, 5pt |
| Left: | margin to left of object: 1cm, 2mm, 3in, 4px, 5pt |
